Do you charge sales tax?
Sales tax is charged as required and is calculated at checkout on Etsy.
Where can I purchase DoorMatX products?
All orders are placed through our Etsy shop — just click any “Buy on Etsy” button. We are also working with brick & mortar and online retailers to carry our products.
Why is my doormat darker/lighter/different than the one pictured?
Our welcome mats are produced from all natural coconut fibers that have natural color variations. Just like every snowflake is unique, so is every coconut. Your doormat is truly one-of-a-kind.
How long will shipping take?
For all in-stock orders, items should arrive at your door within 1-2 weeks. Shipping is handled through Etsy — see the listing for current rates and estimates.
Will my mat shed?
We use a high-quality PVC non-slip backing that minimizes shedding, but it is inevitable with the natural fibers that you will experience some shedding. Don’t worry, the shedding is natural and normal!
How do I care for my doormat?
Coir door mats are made from natural and highly durable materials. Most cleaning can be done by simply brushing off the mat or beating it out.
Where should I put my doormat?
We recommend placing your doormat under a sheltered overhang to protect it from the elements, extend the life of the doormat, and keep it looking its best.
Is my doormat waterproof?
Coir (Coconut-Fiber) material can easily handle normal amounts of moisture but should not be exposed to direct rainfall or water saturation, as this may affect the material and design.

What color will my mat be?
If you purchased one of our natural coconut fiber mats, there will inevitably be some color and texture variations. Over time, the texture and color will mature into a more even rich light-brown color.
Do you offer additional designs?
What you see online reflects our current inventory, but we are always looking to expand our offerings. Feel free to hit us up with any suggestions.
